A person died in a house fire on Ambon Avenue in Deer Park at around 12.30 pm on January 23, with police investigating the incident.
It’s believed neighbours managed to pull the occupant from the house and commenced CPR, but the mad died on the scene.
A second occupant has been taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined at this stage, according to police.
