Man dies following Sunshine West incident

A man has died after being found unconscious in Sunshine West on Monday.

The 34-year-old man was found by police on Drinkwater Crescent, near Talintyre Road, shortly after 1.10am on July 30.

He was transported to hospital but died overnight.

Police spoke to a man in his 30s on Monday, but he was released without charge.

A  second man, a 31-year-old Braybrook man, was interviewed by police yesterday and released pending further inquiries.

The homicide squad investigation is ongoing.

A post mortem examination will be conducted this morning to assist in establishing the man’s cause of death.
