A St Albans man has been charged with attempted murder.
Police this morning charged the 33-year-old with four counts of attempted murder and trafficking a large commercial quantity of drugs.
Another three men and a woman have also been charged with trafficking a large commercial quantity of drugs.
All five have been remanded in custody and will appear in the Melbourne Magistrates Court later today.
The charges follow drug raids in St Albans, Cairnlea, Sunshine, Maribyrnong and Melbourne early on Monday morning as part of Operation Seadragon, a police operation targeting an alleged international drug syndicate.
In December a 26-year-old Kings Park woman was charged with trafficking a large commercial quantity of drugs as part of the same operation.
