Police have charged a man over a suspicious building fire which occurred in Sunshine last year.
Emergency services were called to a fire at a commercial premises on Devonshire Road about 4am on February 25, 2023.
The fire quickly spread and a number of businesses were damaged.
On Saturday, January 20, 2024, a 29-year-old man from Gatton, Queensland was arrested by police.
He has been charged with criminal damage by fire, burglary and reckless conduct endangering life and has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on April 15.
