Police have arrested a man following an incident in St Albans overnight.
A man climbed onto the roof of a house in Ivanhoe Street and remained there for more than 13 hours following an alleged carjacking, police said.
Police were told a man was stationary on his motorcycle at the intersection of Ballarat Road and Duke Road in Sunshine, when an unknown man approached him just after 5pm on Thursday, June 10.
It is alleged the man assaulted the rider before stealing the motorcycle.
