The new level crossing removal project on the intersection of Forrest Street and Fitzgerald Road in Ardeer will led to major road closures over the coming days.
Forrest Street will be closed in both directions between the Fitzgerald Road intersection and Holmes Street from 9am Tuesday, May 10 to 5am Wednesday, May 18.
As major roads, motorists are advised to allow for extra time when travelling on their alternate routes as these roads close over eight days.
Works to the bridge for the level crossing removal project began in July 2021 will construction set to be complete by 2023.
