Loyal retailers honoured

The team at Watergardens Town Centre have paused to reflect on the centre’s 22-year history as it gears up to launch a new precinct dubbed Marketplace.

The shopping mall’s longest serving tenants, The Lambevski family, of Bakers Delight, the Gioliano family, of Lotto Luck, the Nathan family, of Zoes Kitchen, and the Murphy family, of Mr Minit, have been part of the fabric of the centre since it opened in September 1997.

Mark Giuliano from Lotto Luck said it was an opportunity too good to refuse.

“We knew we had to be a part of the new shopping centre being built around the corner as it was in the fastest growing corridor in the north-west region – it was the perfect place to establish our business,” he said.

Amber Lambevski from Bakers Delight said her family shared the same sentiment.

“The centre was being built in a growing area, and we saw lots of potential with all the young families moving into the new housing estates – in fact we were new to the area as well,” Ms Lambevski said.

“Our favourite thing about our community is the people, we have regular customers that have been loyal and shopped with us from the beginning – some of whom have become close friends.”

The team at Mr Minit and Zoes Kitchen also recognised their respective customer bases.

Watergardens centre manager Joe Galea, said the Watergardens team was incredibly grateful for the loyalty the retailers have shown the centre.

“Our Watergardens community would agree that the value the Lambevskis, Giulianos, Nathans, and Murphys bring to the Centre is undeniable, and we look forward to continue working together in the years to come,” Mr Galea said.

The next stage of the centre’s evolution, Marketplace, is scheduled to launch in mid-2020.
