Exhibitions span Keilor’s heritage

History buffs can get a better understanding of one of Brimbank’s more picturesque suburbs later this month.

Keilor Historical Society will throw open its doors for an open day on Saturday, March 19, starting at noon.

As well as music from Overnewton Community College, talks, displays, a bookshop and a marquee serving traditional afternoon tea, the open day at Harrick’s Cottage will also feature two exhibitions: Bridges of Keilor Region, by Susan Jennison OAM, and We Saw The Queen from the Public Records Office.

The society meets on the second Wednesday of each month at the Brimbank council offices at Keilor from 7pm.
