Keilor Downs police are appealing for witnesses to a hit-run collision in St Albans.
A 77 year-old male was struck by a reversing vehicle at the corner of Main Road East and Erica Avenue on Friday, September 15. The man received serious injuries as a result of the incident.
The male driver of the vehicle, which is believed to have been a white van, is described as having a dark complexion.
He initially stopped the vehicle and told the victim he would call an ambulance but he left the scene without calling emergency services or rendering any further assistance.
