A Keilor Downs man has been interviewed by police in regards to an alleged hit-run in Flemington last week.

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives interviewed the 38-year-old overnight to speak to him about the alleged incidents.

He was arrested as a result of an alleged road rage incident where a car crashed into a pole on Thursday 14 October on Mount Alexander Road, Flemington.

Two male victims remain in hospital in serious but stable conditions.

The car suspected to have been involved in the hit-run was recovered in Melton and is being held for forensic examination.

The man was released pending further enquiries.
