Jewellery theft at Sunshine store

Police are investigating the theft of two high-end rings valued at approximately $8500 from a Sunshine jewellery store last week.

A man entered the Harvester Road shop and began speaking with staff about engagement rings around 11.15am on Thursday, June 5.

The man was given the rings to look at when he suddenly ran from the store.

Investigators have released an image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The man is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance with a solid build and wearing a light-coloured beanie, long-sleeve blue tie-dye top, blue pants and black shoes.
