For the fourth straight year, a Ravenhall dance studio has been crowned the best in the state.
JDC Studios has been a high performer at the annual Kids Artistic Revue competition, and this year added to it’s impressive haul of accolades by taking out the Top Studio award for a fourth straight year, alongside a range of individual awards.
It was also named as the regional champions in the Starpower Talent Competition.
Studio director Jason Di Cicco said it was a big tick for the work of everyone at the studio.
“We believe in providing our students with top quality training and highly skilled teachers,” he said.
“We offer all new students the opportunity to come down and trial our classes whether it be for fun, sit exams, or for students who want to compete in competitions.”
Mr Di Cicco will now begin preparing a group of his dancers for their next challenge, performing at Disneyland in the US as well as attending the Abby Lee Dance Company, which featured in the TV series Dance Moms.
“In June last year I travelled to Las Vegas representing Melbourne as an international adjudicator for the American dance competition finals,” Mr Di Cicco said.
“After seeing the American talent I thought it would be an amazing experience to travel to America later this year with my students.”
JDC Studios will have an open week starting on February 25, with interested dancers getting the chance to come and trial the facilities.
