A new IPC Health site in Sunshine will make it easier for clients to access and provide more services.
IPC Health last week closed its Harvester Road site, with the new Sunshine site on Ballarat Road opening next year.
IPC Health chief executive Jayne Nelson said the organisation was relocating to a larger and more accessible site in Sunshine to continue to provide quality health and wellbeing services to more people in the local community.
“As of March next year, IPC Health Sunshine will be located on the first floor of 499 Ballarat Road,” she said.
“This site has ample on-site parking, is within easy walking distance from Albion and Sunshine train stations and has outstanding visibility, making it easier for our clients to find us.
“The new site is larger, is welcoming and allows IPC Health to offer additional services to the local community in Sunshine.”
Services that will be offered at the new site include child and family services, counselling, physiotherapy, social prescribing, paediatric occupational therapy, developmental psychology, speech pathology, podiatry, dietetics, women’s health and refugee health.”
All client appointments that are normally held at Sunshine, will continue as usual with a patient’s regular IPC Health clinician or staff member.
While the new location is being prepared, services will be transferring temporarily to other IPC sites in Brimbank, Deer Park and St Albans.
Ms Nelson said staff were looking forward to moving into the new facility.
“We are looking forward to celebrating the opening of the new IPC Health Sunshine campus in March 2022 and encourage staff and clients to help us create a happy, safe, sustainable and healthy space that is welcoming to all.”
