Hard rubbish on call
Brimbank council will introduce a new way for households to get rid of hard waste from July 1. The new at-call service will replace the annual city-wide kerbside hard waste collection previously offered to residents. More details about how to book a collection will be available closer to July 1, 2019.
Arrests made
Three people have been arrested following an investigation into a burglary which occurred on April 4 this year. A 26-year-old female from Taylors Lakes, a 31-year-old male from St Albans and a 23-year-old female from Woodend all face multiple charges, including theft and burglary.

Parents of children due to attend kindergarten in Brimbank next year are reminded to make sure their contact details are up to date with the council before May 31, 2019. Register online at www.brimbank.vic.gov.au
Election called
Australia will go to the polls on Saturday, May 18 after Prime Minister Scott Morrison called an election last week. For Brimbank residents it will be the first time the seat of Fraser will be contested.
