For nearly five decades, the Duke Street Community House has been offering low-cost classes for all residents. One of the most popular and critical offerings are the regular English lessons, hosted for locals from multicultural backgrounds. The classes have been important in helping students learn the language, and in turn acquire a new sense of independence.
