Hotel owner donated $20,000 to Brimbank fund

The owner of Watergardens Hotel is continuing his support of vulnerable young people living in Brimbank.

Hotel owner Alexander Robertson has – with his latest $20,000 donation – brought to $80,000 the money he has given to the Brimbank Community Fund.

All money donated to the fund is kept there, with the interest accrued used to support charities working with some of Brimbank’s most vulnerable young residents.

Mr Robertson said he would donate at least $20,000 to the fund every year.

“Everywhere we have a hotel, we’re involved with community activities,” he said.

The community fund’s grants focus on tackling youth unemployment, providing education and developing wellbeing.
