Talented VCE students in Melton are exhibiting their artworks at the Caroline Springs Gallery until the end of this month.

Up to three artworks from each of Lakeview Senior, Catholic Regional, Melton Christian, Kurunjang Secondary, Staughton and Gilson colleges will be on display for all to admire.

Melton mayor Sophie Ramsey said the show was an opportunity for residents to discover the calibre of the schools’ young artists in “our own backyard”.

“This unique exhibition is a celebration of the quality and diversity of the creative talents of the next generation of artists who live and study in Melton,” Cr Ramsey said.

“I encourage everyone to take the time to experience this wonderful and inspiring exhibition and acknowledge the achievements of some of our finest, homegrown artists.”

The displayed works include studio art, graphic design, sculpture, media and product design, and technology.

The exhibition at 193 Caroline Springs Boulevard will run until Wednesday, November 30.
