Hillside woman dies after collision

A 26-year-old Hillside woman has died after being struck by a truck in Thomastown earlier this month.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Latitude Boulevard and Heyington Avenue about 7.45pm on Wednesday, August 13.

The woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and died overnight.

The truck driver was initially unaware of the collision but was flagged down by passers-by and stopped to assist.

Greensborough highway patrol officers are continuing to investigate the collision.
