Young artists take their work to market

Three young Brimbank artists joined forces – and cemented their sense of community – via a three-week project on one of St Albans’ busier streets.

Their newly created urban art mural has transformed the wall of the IGA supermarket, which the trio worked on in conjunction with two professional artists as mentors.

St Albans’ Lily Nguyen (pictured), a 20-year-old photography student, said the project had been a joy to work on.

“I just wanted to experiment with my style and get involved with the community,” she said.
