A grass fire in Sunshine North this morning was quickly brought under control by firefighters.
Fire Rescue Victoria was called to Bunnett Street after a caller to triple-0 reported heavy smoke in the area.
Firefighters arrived on scene to find two piles of rubbish on fire, which had spread to nearby grasslands.
The fire was brought under control within four minutes of crews arriving.
FRV spokesperson said they had handed over the scene to police for further inspection.
