Budding netballers have the chance to shoot for goals at the new Caroline Springs Suncorp NetSetGo program.

Having already run one NetSetGo program on Sundays in Sydenham, the St Albans and Caroline Springs Netball Association decided to set up the program on Saturdays too.

West Devils, a club in the association, is running the program, with Tracy Wallace taking on the coaching role.

Ms Wallace said they were keen to get more netballers involved at the junior level, with many then progressing through the club into the senior ranks.

The program, which is a Netball Australia program, has run the last couple of weeks.

“We’ve had a lovely time, but we were hoping for a few more kids,” she said.

“We’re not sure why we’re not getting more kids down to be part of it.

“Anyone between five and 11, even if they are 12, we’ll take them. It’s for anyone who wants to come down and have some fun.”

The sessions are on Saturdays between 8am and 9am at the Caroline Springs Leisure Centre.
