The dresses will be out and the shirts pressed when the Lions Taylors Lakes Kids Cancer Research Gala Fundraising evening returns.
After missing out last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Lions Taylors Lakes Club will put on the gala for the third time on May 15.
The event will raise money for the Australian Lions Childhood Cancer Research Foundation (ALCCRF),with 100 per cent of the funds directed to nationally and internationally renowned research projects aimed at eradicating all forms of childhood cancer.
The 2019 gala raised more than $8000. The club is hoping to raise more than $9000 this year.
Cover band Times Like These will perform, while Lou and J Blues Duo will provide pre-entertainment.
The gala will include a silent auction, a reverse draw and a raffle.
Guests will also have a chance to take home a lucky door prize.
Tickets are $65 which includes a two course meal.
