St Albans East Primary School is going full steam ahead into a celebration of the best work of its pupils.

The STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and maths) night will feature pupils from all year levels.

School principal Paul Busuttil said it was a great way for the school’s community to engage with the curriculum.

“Schools around the world are recognising STEAM as being important subjects for children to learn, as they teach valuable skills and encourage problem solving and creative thinking,” he said.

“This is an opportunity to showcase and celebrate students designs and work completed throughout the year.

“It will also be a great opportunity for parents and students to engage in a variety of STEAM activities.”

Mr Busuttil said the pupils’ skills should impress.

“We have such a diverse, talented group of students here and the beauty of a night like this is that it gives them all an opportunity to showcase that.”

The event is on Wednesday, October 24 from 5-7pm at St Albans East Primary School, 7-17 Station Avenue.
