Brimbank is getting the beauty treatment from business people and community activists alike this month.

About 20 people from VicRoads Metro North West region spent three hours cleaning up a section of the Federation Trail at Brooklyn earlier this month for the annual Business Clean-Up Day.

Friends of Kororoit Creek is holding a rubbish pick-up at Buckingham Reserve on Sunday, March 20, from 4pm.

Bring your friends and neighbours. Rubbish kits, including bags, gloves and pick-up tools, will be provided. Just bring a hat, sunscreen and water and remember to wear closed shoes, long pants and gum boots.

The Friends have already planted 250 trees, shrubs and grasses along the creek as part of their Fence by Fence campaign, and they spruced up Albion Park as their Clean Up Australia Day contribution on March 6.
