Brimbank locals can learn how to make soil in their backyards healthier as part of a workshop hosted by Kororoit Creek Neighbourhood House on Saturday, July 12.
The free workshop, running from 1.30 to 3.30pm, will empower residents to use practical, soil-first methods to achieve healthy soil, regardless of where they live.
Participants will also learn about the importance of regenerative food systems and soil biology.
The event will be led by Craig Castree, a soil regeneration specialist, who has over 45 years of experience growing nutrient-rich foods without the use of chemicals.
He has also authored six books and made it his life mission to help locals reconnect with soil, and to live more sustainable and self-sufficient lives.
