Police have arrested four teenagers who allegedly threw rocks at vehicles in Brookfield on Sunday morning.
Emergency services received four reports of rocks being thrown from the Bulmans Road overpass onto traffic travelling on the Western Freeway shortly after midnight.
Police quickly arrived on the scene and arrested three male youths and one female.
All four – a 19-year-old woman from Taylors Hill, an 18-year-old man from Brookfield, a 16-year-old boy from Melton South and a 19-year-old man from Melton – were released and expected to be charged on summons with conduct endangering life.
Four vehicles were reported to be damaged however it is believed there were no injuries.
