Football is on the agenda at Keilor Park Soccer Club’s football fiesta this Saturday.
After a successful first event last year, the club is hoping this year’s event will be bigger and better.
The day will be jam packed with fun fitness and nutrition sessions, activities on and off the field, great food to get you through it all and lots more, as they celebrate soccer.
Club vice-president Nicole Camilleri said the fiesta is an opportunity to reengage with the community before the season commences.
“This year our focus is on female participation and how we, as a community club, can provide both competitive and social football programs to women and girls within Brimbank and surrounding areas.
“After the huge success of Go Soccer Mums, Keilor Park will be launching Go Girls, a non-competitive football program for girls to experience, learn and practice football in an inclusive, fun, all-girl environment. Come down to the Football Fiesta to learn more about this exciting new program.”
The club’s senior sides, both men’s and women’s will play exhibition games, while the club’s GO Soccer Mum’s will play against Brunswick City’s GO Soccer Mum’s in what should be an entertaining match.
The event starts at 9.30am at Keilor Park Soccer Club.
