Firefighters have brought a quick-spreading grassfire in Sunshine North under control.
Crews arrived at the scene near Bunnett Street earlier this afternoon to find a large fire quickly spreading.
Extra resources were called in and helped bring the blaze under control in about 75 minutes.
The fire is being deemed as suspicious.
A community warning was issued due to the large amount of smoke in the area.
Trains were also forced to slow in the area near the fire.
The fire burned about 50 hectares of grassland, but was extinguished before it reached neighbouring industrial estates.
Crews are expected to remain on the scene for a number of hours to fully extinguish the fire.
