A garage fire in Sunshine North now under control threatened to spread to neighbouring properties this afternoon.
Crews were called to the fire in Brooker Street just before midday.
“The fire was threatening to spread to adjoining homes,” an MFB spokesperson said in a statement.
It took 30 firefighters around 45 minutes to control the blaze which also severely damaged the house at the property.
The fire is being investigated.
