Fatal fire at Sunshine factory

A factory fire in Sunshine has resulted in two deaths.

A factory on Bunnett Street, Sunshine was reported at 4.02am Friday, with 48 firefighters coming out.

Two people were inside the premises at the time and died at the scene.

They are yet to be formally identified.

Police are on scene investigating the circumstances surrounding the fire and are yet to determine the cause.

The fire involved a single level tilt slab factory 20 metres by 30 metres fully involved in fire.
