Fatal crash in St Albans

Police are investigating a fatal crash in St Albans that occurred on the morning of Friday, October 3.

It is believed a car was travelling on Taylors Roadd when it lost control and crashed into a wall at the intersection with East Esplanade just before 8am.

The driver and sole occupant, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.

An investigation into the exact circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing.
