Fatal collision in St Albans

Police are investigating a fatal collision in St Albans on Thursday where a 41-year-old man from St Albans died.

It’s believed a white Peugeot station wagon and a black Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle collided on Errington Road near Main Road just after 5pm.

The motorcyclist, a 41-year-old St Albans man, died at the scene.

The male driver of the Peugeot was not injured. He was interviewed by police and released pending further inquiries.

The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.
