Budding young golfers will have a chance to hone their game at the Keilor Public Golf Course next month.

The club will be playing host to a free family fun day on Sunday, February 2 and there’s the promise of something for everyone.

A number of activities are planned and young golfers will be given ample opportunity to get their start in the game with junior golf demonstrations and professional fittings by leading golf brands planned.

For those interested in further honing their game, PGA pro Scott Wearne will be available throughout the day to chat about junior and ladies golf.

There might even be a chance for some footgolf, a game in which players aim to kick a ball into a cup in as few shots as possible.

The club has its own footgolf course and accompanying ice-cream truck which have proven to be a hit with patrons.

But there’ll be something for everyone with face painting, jumping castles, food trucks and more scheduled for the day.

The family fun day begins at 10 and runs until 3pm.
