Driver charged after drugs located following Braybrook intercept

Police have charged a man with a range of drug trafficking and possession charges following a vehicle intercept in Braybrook last week.

Police observed the driver of a Toyota Yaris acting suspiciously on Royal Parade at about 11.40pm on Friday, March 24.

Police then intercepted the car and spoke to the 24-year-old driver.

Police said they found drugs, cash and drug paraphernalia upon searching the car.

Police arrested the man and charged him with trafficking and possessing cocaine, cannabis, MDMA and prescription medication, as well as possessing proceeds of crime.

He was bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court on Tuesday, June 13.
