The Salvation Army is on the hunt for any winter woollies that residents may be willing to donate as part of a new “donate for a discount” initiative aiming to replenish their winter supplies and help those in need.
For any donations received before the end of July donors will in return receive a 20% discount voucher to use.
The charity has put the call out for anything that can help keep someone warm as these colder months roll on such as, jumpers, tracksuits, flannel shirts, blankets, warm sheets and more.
There are a number of salvation stores across Brimbank including in Deer Park, Sunshine, Derrimut and Taylors Lakes.
“We are looking for those essential winter items, such as jumpers, jackets, beanies, and other warm clothes. So please, head into your local Salvos Store and donate your winter goods to make a difference in other people’s lives,” said Matt Davis, CEO of Salvos Stores.
