A Deer Park truck driver is now a millionaire after being identified as the mystery winning division 1 ticket holder from Saturday night’s Tattslotto.

The man was one of five winners from Saturday’s draw, with each person now $1,165,537.35 richer.

The man purchased the ticket at Burnside Lotto & News and despite having a registered ticket, officials hadn’t been able to contact him.

The man realised this morning that he had a winning ticket. He was in shock when he heard how much he had won.

“Hang on! Hang on! How much was that again?” he said.

“Holy s**t. I’m shaking! I had no idea.

“I thought I might have won second or third division. “I [normally] only check my ticket on Saturday when I get my ticket for the next week and do it all again.

“I’ve been playing the same numbers for many years. Just random numbers I chose with a couple of birthdates thrown in. That’s about it!”

The man said the win would take the pressure off his family and they would look to pay off their mortgage and clear some debts.

“I’m shaking now, and I don’t know what to say. I’ll have to wait until it hits home to think about how else I’ll use it.

“I’ll keep on working. I’ve always said if I ever won TattsLotto, I’d keep working. I can’t sit around and not work.”
