A Deer Park man will but a new house after winning more than $1 million in TattsLotto.
The man was one of 16 division one winners in the February 11, with each person taking home $1.25 million.
Despite discovering his $1.25 million win straight after the draw on Saturday night, the Deer Park man is still struggling to comprehend that his life has changed forever.
The eager Victorian called The Lott immediately the next morning to confirm his life-changing win and was left shocked by the revelation.
He said he will buy a new house with the money.
“Thank you very much,” he said. “I discovered the win around 10pm on Saturday night. It was straight after the draw.
“I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the prize amount! It’s hard to come to terms with it all.
“I’m still going to work this morning [Monday] – celebrations come later.”
The winning ticket was purchased from Deer Park Lotto on Ballarat Road.
Deer Park Lotto manager Michelle Richard said she was thrilled to hear her outlet had sold a division one winning entry to a local and regular customer.
She said they had decorated the store and would share sweets with customers to celebrate the win.
“A big congratulations to the winning man and we hope the prize allows him to achieve all of his dreams.”
