Police will investigate a house fire in Deer Park this morning, with the blaze also impacting four neighboring properties.
Firefighters arrived at the Laming St address at 10.38 am to find smoke and flames issuing from the rear of the weatherboard house, with fire spreading to nearby fences and sheds.
Crews donned breathing apparatus and began attacking the fire as well as combatting the fire from the next street due to its rapid spread.
Four properties were impacted by the fire.
A community warning has also been issued for significant smoke in the area.
All occupants were evacuated safely, however they will be assessed by Ambulance Victoria for smoke inhalation.
The fire was deemed under control by 11.29am.
