The man entered PharmaSave in Station Road just after 7pm and threatened staff with what is believed to have been a gun.

Detective Senior Constable Nicola Verbeek from the Brimbank Embona Taskforce said the man stole $300 in cash before fleeing the store.

The offender is described as Caucasian in appearance and was wearing a black hooded jumper and black pants.

No one was hurt during the ordeal.
