Daughters of the West is under way, with Cobblebank kicking off the 10-week free health and wellness program.

Sessions begun on Tuesday, July 16, at Cobblebank Stadium with women who live or work in the Melton area participating in exercises lead by trained staff.

Melton mayor Kathy Majdlik said there were many benefits to the program, which caters for a range of abilities.

“Daughters of the West has inspired local women to make healthier changes and improve their lifestyles,” she said.

“It’s a great way to get expert advice and support for improving your health and wellbeing while making some friends along the way.”

Sessions will run on Wednesdays in St Albans, from 6.30-8.30pm.
