Copperfield College taps into moon magic

The wonders of space and science have been celebrated at Copperfield College.

Students at the school’s Sydenham campus created science experiments, built robots and printed models on 3D printers for the annual science fair on August 23.

The theme for this year’s fair was the 50th anniversary of the moon landing.

Science co-ordinator Faryal Niazi said about 30 groups of students took part.

“The students have been working really hard on their projects for a long time,” she said,

Pupils from nearby primary schools were invited to attend the fair and Copperfield College’s Vex Robotics club showcased the robots built for the Vex Robotics world championships in Kentucky in April.
