A leading senior constable charged with rape was arrested in Tullamarine this morning.
The alleged incident occurred between July 2015 and May this year while the constable, from the Eastern Region, was off duty, police say.

A property in Melbourne’s north was also raided as part of the Taskforce Salus operation.
The man was charged with six offences including rape, intentionally cause injury and indecent act in the presence of a child under the age of 16.
He has been suspended with pay and will face Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
