The Melbourne Airport third runway plan will be open for feedback from the community until May 16 before the public exhibition closes.
The new 3000-metre runway is proposed to run parallel to the existing north-south runway and will increase the airport’s capacity by allowing for simultaneous arrivals and departures.
Construction of the proposed new third runway will require changes to flight paths and shortening of the east-west runway.
Residents can submit their feedback before it closes on May 16.
