Brimbank school holiday program
The Brimbank school holiday program is a free, four-session program for young people aged 10-14 who live or attend school in Brimbank. The program, run by Brimbank Youth Services, will contain a mixture of creative and active activities to provide enjoyment and improved mental wellbeing for young people in the community. There are events taking place from 10am-noon on Tuesday 13 January, Wednesday 14 January, Tuesday 20 January and Wednesday 21 January.

Library holiday fun
Kids can attend Brimbank libraries these school holidays for a fun mix of creativity, learning and community events. All activities are free, and great for kids of all ages. Highlights include a water safety storytime, a young makers workshop, an Augmented Reality session, a bushland biodiversity workshop, Lunar New Year Festival activities, NGV Kids on Tour, rainbow storytime and a dinosaur discovery event with Museums Victoria.

Kids bookmark-making workshop
Brimbank kids aged between five and 12 can help create a large artwork and design their own colourful bookmark while celebrating creativity and community. The workshop will run from noon-1pm on Tuesday 20 January at Keilor Central Shopping Centre, 80 Taylors Road, Keilor Downs. A parent or guardian must be present at all times throughout the duration of the program. No bookings are required for the free drop-in session.

St Albans senior citizens
St Albans Senior Citizens group meet at the centre at the corner of Alfrieda and William streets, St Albans, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 9am-2pm. Annual membership: $10. Cost: $1 entry on attendance day.

Al-Anon Family Groups is offering help and hope to anyone living in an unhappy home because a loved one drinks too much. There are no contracts to sign, just a voluntary donation to cover room rental. Confidentiality is protected. Over 50’s club
The Keilor Over 50’s Recreation Club meets at Kealba Hall, 24 McShane Drive, Kealba, on Tuesdays, from 10am-3pm, and Wednesdays, from 7-10pm. Have a coffee and a chat, play social table tennis, pool and card games, go on organised outings and enjoy barbecues. First two visits are free then annual membership fees apply.
