Christmas grinch pinches decorations in Taylors Hill

A Taylors Hill woman has called out a Christmas grinch who allegedly stole decorations from the front yard of her home on Tuesday.

The incident occurred just before 10am, with footage showing a woman filling a garbage bag with decorations.

Nuria Celentano posted the video of the incident on her Facebook page on Tuesday night. Since then, it has had more than 68,000 views and been shared more than 1400 times.

“If you know who she is just tell her to return the stuff back,” Ms Celentano said.

“l would rather not meet her.”

The footage, which lasts for two minutes, shows the woman returning multiple times to the front yard.

Ms Celentano told 3AW her son was the first to notice a ‘santa sign’ was missing.

“We didn’t expect to see what we saw.”

“That’s what really made me angry, how could you do this? Wipe the smile off my children’s faces and make them cry…”

“I can’t take that feeling away from them.”

The missing ‘Santa Stop Here’ sign led to a tough conversation between Ms Celentano and her four-year-old son.

“The signs are only $2, but it is the effort and the love that goes into it.”

Ms Celentano said she would report the incident to the police.
