Police are investigating after two pedestrians were hit by a car in Delahey on April 21.
It is alleged a car struck a man and a child on Kings Road about 12.45pm.
A 23-year-old Kings Park man and a six-year-old child were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver, a 51-year-old woman, allegedly fled the scene in the vehicle, then returned a short time later.
A Hillside woman was arrested and interviewed.
She is expected to be charged on summons at a later date.
