Kids in Brimbank had the opportunity to learn about First Nations culture from an experienced First Nations educator, as part of a NAIDOC week event hosted by Brimbank council with Brimbank Neighboured Houses.
Djarrin Blow ran the workshop and brought in traditional First Nations artefacts, which youngsters were able to learn about, hold and see up close.
Djarrin shared First Nations stories, and children were able to listen to the sounds of a didgeridoo and participate in a traditional dance too.
Parents and families also attended, making the event a meaningful, cultural experience for all.
