The Bowery Theatre and St Albans Community Centre is celebrating the Lunar New year on Sunday, January 22.
Vietnamese Business Support Organisation (VBSO) is hosting a family-friendly event that combines food, culture, fashion and the arts.
The free event will run from noon to 6pm at St Albans Community Centre.
There will also be an arts showcase between 4pm and 8pm at the Bowery Theatre.
This is a ticketed event and bookings are required
Vietnamese Business Support Organisation’s Khanh Dang said this was the group’s first Lunar New Year celebration post-pandemic.
“The free event will be taking place on the first day of the Lunar New Year. We are really hoping that this will become an annual event.
“There will be lots of family-friendly entertainment on the night – including music from traditional Vietnamese instruments, famous street magicians and food.”
