Caroline Springs carols return

The Caroline Springs 8th Annual Carols By Candlelight is set to return live to the foreshore of Lake Caroline, on Saturday, December 10, after being held virtually for the past two years due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The event was organised by INChurch Melbourne.

This community event has grown from 500 people attending eight years ago, to more than 7000 attending the last time it was held live in 2019.

The event will kick off from 5pm and will include Food Trucks, barbecue and free show bags for the first ,000 kids that arrive. Visitors will also be able to catch the festive film, ‘Arthur Christmas’ at 6pm before the main Carols program commences at 8pm featuring a combined church band and choir.

Special guests include Rosie Vai, winner for the inaugural New Zealand Idol and local Melbourne songwriter and performer, Elissa Parsons who will be sharing her newly released single “Glass Ceilings”.

At 9.30pm the event will conclude with a fireworks spectacular from pontoons in the middle of Caroline Springs Lake.
