Car crashes into house in St Albans

Police are investigating after a car crashed into a house in St Albans this afternoon.

Police were called to Finn Street about noon, after reports of people fighting.

Before police arrived on scene they received further reports that a car had crashed into a house before being driven away.

A police spokesperson said the car was located a short distance away. A male driver and a female occupant were arrested.

The driver was taken to hospital while the woman is assisting police with their inquiries.

Investigations are continuing.
